2021-2022 Güz Yarıyılı Diploma Projesi’nin konusu “metro-kırsal alanlar” olarak belirlenmiştir. Metropoliten alan sınırları içinde kalan, üretim formu ve nüfus profili kırsal karakterde olan bu alanlar yakın dönemin en ilgi çeken arakesit alanlarıdır. Aynı zamanda bir güncel planlama sorunu olarak belirmektedirler. Metropoliten alan hinterlandı içinde kırsal karakterlerini kaybetme riski ötesinde, daha temel olarak, tarım alanlarının ve diğer doğal kaynakların hinterlant etkisi ile kaybolma riski taşıdığı bu alanlar, üstünde düşünülmesi ve planlama bağlamında özel çözüm üretilmesi gereken alanlardır.
The subject of the 2021-2022 Fall Term Graduation Project has been determined as “metro-rural areas”. These areas, which are within the boundaries of metropolitan areas and whose production form and population profile are rural in character, are the most interesting intersection (transect) areas of the recent period. At the same time, they appear as a current planning problem. Beyond the risk of losing their rural character within the hinterland of the metropolitan area; more fundamentally, these areas where agricultural areas and other natural resources are at risk of being lost due to the hinterland effect, are the areas that need to be considered and for which special solutions need to be developed in the context of planning.
