The workshop titled “Common Ground for Resilient Cities: Integrating Structural Retrofitting and Urban Transformation,” organized within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1001 project led by Prof. Dr. Şevkiye Şence Türk from ITU Department of Urban and Regional Planning, was successfully held with the valuable contributions of invited experts from different disciplines and institutions.

Participants from central and local governments, academia, law, professional chambers, and non-governmental organizations discussed structural retrofitting and urban transformation processes through their technical, legal, financial, and administrative dimensions. Within a framework of collective deliberation, they addressed solution-oriented proposals for developing earthquake-resilient cities.
