Founded in 1987, the ITU Department of Health, Culture and Sports aims to organize cultural and social activities and to support students in developing their personal talents within an academic environment through active participation. Within the framework of its special regulations, student-established clubs are, when necessary, guided and supported by accomplished artists and experts in their respective fields.

The Urbanization Club is a student club run by students of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the Faculty of Architecture, Istanbul Technical University. The club aims to create environments such as workshops, talks, panels, and discussion sessions that connect university education with real life, and to bring students and participants together in these settings.
