EELISA Discovery çalışma grubu iki yeni etkinlik düzenlemektedir. Etkinlik detaylarına ve katılım linklerine aşağıdaki duyuru metninde yer verilmiştir. 

The DISCOVERY, an EELISA community of which Prof.Dr. Fatih TERZİ and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ebru ERBAŞ GÜRLER are members, is organizing two new events.

Event-1: LUNCH TALKS #2: EXPLORING URBAN SUSTAINABILITY

Welcome back to our “Lunch Talks”, a set of seminars to present actions that will contribute to the transformation of cities from the perspective of sustainability with several transversal axes.

The aim is to make students aware of the problems we are currently facing in the field of urban sustainability, decarbonization and ecological transition. This set of seminars gives continuity to the first set of seminars “Introduction to campus Sustainability” organized in November/December 2021.

Event-2: CAMPUS CLIMATE FRESK

The aim of “Campus Climate Fresk” is to raise awareness and educate about climate change. To do so, the activity follows a two-stages process.

1) The Climate Fresk workshop: a playful, collaborative and creative workshop on climate change, open to every student based in Madrid or abroad. Students will have the possibility to attend the workshop online or in person: 16/03 from 11h to 14h (online) or from 15h to 18h (face-to-face, in Ciudad Universitaria Campus).

2) A complementary course for students of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) who want the recognition of 1 ECTS. It consists of a face-to-face practical lesson on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and carbon footprint. Students will have the possibility to attend the course in Campus Ciudad Universitaria (28/03 and 31/03 from 10h to 13h) or in Campus Sur (29/03 and 01/04 from 10h to 13h).
